NYC-Boston 12-28Dec12 (Day 7)

Started the day with coffee at Peet's Coffee & Tea. Met with E's classmates for abit, then off we went on a Harvard tour conducted by our very own graduate.

E brought us around the campus while narrating her life in school. For that split moment we all felt like going back to school too. But just for that moment...

Done with her school, we then walked across to the Harvard Yard where we finally saw the Harvard library she'd been gushing about since day 1. Huge but we didn't get to go in. I'm sure it's amazing. And lastly of course, the John Harvard Statue. She said my photo made him look better. Lol. Funny story about his shoe too but go find out yourself :)

Time for a good American burger at b.good. Big and juicy..exactly how it should be..love it. Interesting sweet potato fries and the salad's very good too. Off to the tour finale - the Harvard Store. It's huge. You will be greatly impressed by just how much merchandise they managed to brand the Harvard name on. We love the kids stuff so be sure to check it out. Super cute.

Dropped by this lovely hat shop called Goorin Bros. Worth a visit. Look at the 4 of us gleeming with joy at our purchase. Hmm seems like we just had our lunch but that didn't deter us from having 2 for $1 oysters at The Red House! Yumm..

Checked out something at Hermes but no luck there. Ended up with a big haul at Cole Haan, our new-found favorite brand. Packed dinner from a supermarket near our hotel. I love how they have a salad bar, soup bar, asian food, italian food etc. Super convenient. We should have this kind of options in Singapore. AT introduced us to high-end Bourbon with this fancy looking bottle, while WP introduced us to this zero calorie drink that tasted so bad it was funny.
